GRIMDARK DOUBLE PILLBOX BUNKER:

Description:

The Grimdark Double Pillbox is a double storey infantry bunker with a removable 2nd floor, removable roof & playable interiors. It provides cover for garrisoned units, while affording troops inside with good firing arcs & potential height advantages against outside enemy units.

What's Included: 

  • 1x Tall Double Pillbox [4 Pieces + Antenna Assembly Pins)

Dimensions:

  • 28mm Scale: 119 x 119 x 99mm  / 4.7 x 4.7 x 3.9" (+24mm Rooftop Antenna Height)

Note:

  • Some larger power armour equiped marines may need this bunker made in 32mm Scale to fit inside. At 28mm Scale, floor to ceiling height clearance is:

    First Floor: 43mm / 1.7"
    Second Floor: 38mm / 1.5"

    So let us know if different scaling is required. 

  • Models may require assembly, and are unpainted in Grey HT-PLA.

War Scenery Models are made for 28mm scale games by default, however we can easily scale them up or down for you.

Details & Design

  • Wargaming Optimised. War Scenery Terrain Pieces use common scaling to be generally compatible with 28mm & 32mm Tabletop Wargames (Grimdark, Sci-Fi, Etc).

    The models themselves are printed at 28mm Scale, but 32mm Scaling or others can be requested (some larger marine units may not fit inside 28mm interiors).

  • 3D Printed from Grey HT-PLA Plastic, therefore there may be small cosmetic inconsistancies due to the nature of the manufacturing process. These do not affect durability or playability.

  • Starforge Hobbies is proud to offer very high levels of detail and careful inspection of every piece, however the method of manufacture means in some cases a little cleanup may be required on certain parts.

  • Items are supplied unpainted and unassembled.

Terrain Tips

  • Before Paint Or Other Details.

    Light preparation (sanding and/or priming) of some surfaces will help achieve the best results, prior to painting or other detailing work.

  • Terrain With Assembly Pins.

    We've found that War Scenery's assembly pins work best as a gluing aid (on most kits), rather than without glue at all.

    We apply a suitible glue to the holes, insert the pins, attach the other part and then hold the parts in their proper position until the glue has cured enough (assembled parts don't move or sag). Then allow the glue to cure fully.

Packaging:

To pack your order and protect it during transit, we use sturdy and heavy duty boxes with a lot of protective padding or filler, which is then sealed on all sides with durable tape for extra integrity.

Safety & Product Care

Product Care:

  • While HT (High Temp) - PLA is more thermally resistant than commonly used regular PLA and is much less prone to warping in this application (which is why we use it for these models), it's still PLA at it's core, so there is still risk.

    However it is less likely (compared to regular PLA), and requires even higher temperatures and/or longer exposure time.

    Exposing HT-PLA to direct sunlight or very hot environments (depending on temperature and intensity) for extended periods, like the inside of a hot car in summer, may cause components to warp.
